Whilst waiting to move into our new home (and layout area) I started to build some Rail line Box car kits for my move into HOn3.
Long ways to go but getting there.

I think everyone missed the joke here as these things were gauged waaaaay too narrow.
That or it just wasn't funny.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

More work done on my Rail Line Box cars (for my new HOn3 layout) admittedly a few weeks ago now.
Ready to paint and decal once I get my new garage cleared out and ready for the layout.

Lookin' good!  I built a few of those about 25 years ago and have a few more unbuilt kits.  They're slow-going but make an outstanding model that looks equally good next to a Blackstone 3000-series.

My intention is to build one or two and paint them in car number only as was common during the war years.

Didn't think their kits were that old. Somebody went to a lot of work to make them look this good when assembled.

They've been around since the late 80s or so, but they're very well engineered even by today's standards.
