Mine says it's version 4.6.1. Just did an update (or thought I did) but it still says it's 4.6.1. What did you do to get version 4.6.2?
Downloaded directly from the ESU site and forced the update.Unfortunately, I have not touched or seen one of these boards, yet.
Do you have any pics of your file and card setup?
OK, success! Did the 4.6.2 download manually and now Drive Hold now appears in the Logical Function pull-downs. It also appears to be working properly on the layout. Interesting that I could get it to work with my regular V4 Micro using version 4.6.1, but all good now. Thanks!
Here’s a pic of all the tools I use.The file card is 45 years old but still does its job well. The file card material comes originally just on the canvass backing in huge rolls. You just cut a bit off and glue it to a suitable block, as Per picture. I’m guessing this stuff is still available from tool supply houses and possibly even ready to run in similar size and already on a backing board. If you know a machine/metal shop they should know. Unless this is all too ancient technology now. (Attachment Link)
File Card is a (silly) name for a file-cleaning brush.
Those bristles look a little long and too flexible perhaps to do a good metal file clean with minimal effort. Maybe that’s the difference between a file cleaning brush and a file card. So maybe not such a silly name after all.
Wow, you can pick up these 54650 boards for a song right now! At these prices, I had to pick up a few more!
