@Chris333, for future reference i have been able to cleanly print, in any plane, holes as small as 0.010" diameter for wire insertion and 0.010" square for etched attachments completely eliminating the need to drill into the FUD/FXD.

It works really well as long as you keep it cleaned out during all phases of cleaning, sanding and priming.

Yeah my other Whitcomb project has 3D square holes that fit etched parts perfectly. But there is the part thickness to worry about. A 3D grill would be about .016" thick and probably curl because of that.

Also do you know a way to upload a file to Shapeways and have it back in 2 hours>?  :D

Speaking of that. My last Shapeways order... I choose the second UPS shipping option and the shipping was soooo much faster.

I don't like that bracket for the front headlight. It looks too much like what it is and not like something someone would've actually made.

Agree with the etched grille- was thinking of how it attached to the front and your wires.

You can see the shine of the decal film on the surface.  And they are very crisp!

Yes laser printed on decal paper. The lines were drawn .006" wide.

Well I painted the metal building. I was happy with the green first try, but the roof... First I painted it a black/brown color with silver drybrushing and it just didn't look right. So I re-painted it a dark silver (about the same color as the plastic was molded in) and washed it with the black/brown. In the end here it is.

Well it has been a few days and I didn't do much. Did get the last bits of bare ground covered. Time for some details and greenery.
