Okay, back to bricks. Here are some progress shots. I have to say, it is really nice working with board. Cutting is easy with a sharp knife or razor, and everything glues with white glue. I use rubber cement to laminate the prints to the board.
On the off topic note, just to establish that there is such a thing as an industrial hot dog stand, let me present the Vienna factory store and cafe (attached to the factory) on Damen in Chicago. http://nationalave.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/DSC_5716_640.jpgIf you are not from Chicago, you may never have heard of Vienna brand hot dogs, this because almost the entire production is consumed within Chicago and adjacent municipalities with very few available for export to other places.
Wow. OK, I give up. Doug Nelson can do more over a weekend than I get done in a month.
My only concern might be the use of rubber cement--it has a tendency to degrade over time, and the paper images might start to peel off.
@David K. Smith is there something you would use instead of rubber cement?
I might have missed it, but what kind of board?
