Yay! Another sale to enocourage BLI to do more RTR PRR steam!

You should be very happy with the mechanism. It’s a very nicely running model.

Eh, there’s no accounting for taste. ;)

Can’t wait to see what you build on it!

PS - Whatever you’re building, you should do at least a dozen of them.

My wild guess would be a UP 7000 class? Right size, drivers almost right on?

Everybody knows that a proper standard gauge steam locomotive has a square firebox.   :D

Narrow gauge engines, OTOH, are free to have round fireboxes.

Yet for some awkward reason, you never see that belpaire firebox listed in articles talking about supreme steam development............ it's always N&W, UP, and atsf with their round fireboxes. I wonder why that is????????

I love Belpaire fireboxes... Great northern, Canadian National, Early Canadian Pacific, Soo Line switchers, Early Northern Pacific, SP&S...

But what is this PRR you speak off? One of those little eastern roads New York Central took over?  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Great Northern had some big articulateds and Northerns with Belpaire buldges  ;)

Yeah, its the one that's the color of the toilet water after eating too much messican(hateful eight movie) food. I think they called it the standard railroad but for some reason, didn't make it nearly as long as the other guys............... they even brought in a few SANTA FE 2-10-4s to try and stay afloat but they just couldn't be saved! :scared: :D :scared:

I dunno, I’m seeing more of a shade of a chewed up, digested, and excreted olive branch left in a steaming pile on the side of the playground.   I really don’t get the obsessive hate toward others who are here enjoying the same hobby.

Good luck with your project.

There’s an obvious level of passion in your attitude toward the Pennsy that far surpasses “don’t like.” Sometimes I think you’re more passionate about the Pennsy than most SPFs.

That said, and at the risk of further feeding the Drasko, I’ll just leave this here, lest you forget what the Santa Fe bought from the Pennsy.
