Wow. There is a product we have needed for 40 years. Major improvement over the "20 section" interior that comes with the car.

Nice upgrade!

This leads to the question of colors. Since we're talking about the Standard Railroad of the World, what would be appropriate for the 50's. I've heard maroon seats, sand/white roof and walls, mint floor, and tan shades. Any other insight?

It would not take long to turn this into one and release a second interior for the combine.

But I suppose one could in fact do that.  If you try this only use a Dremel cutoff wheel. A knife will shatter it.

Of course you know you opened a Pandora's box.... I need interiors for my brass cars, especially PRB chair cars.
I've been cutting up old Rowa interiors, coach seats here, sleeping compartments and sections there, to reassemble in different configurations.

I wonder whether one could devise a modular approach to this... Coach seating, sections, dining areas... Hmmm

When I have an afternoon to devote to it, I will make a list, but to kick off (in addition to those interiors for PRB chair cars Otto mentioned, which I imagine could be modified to cars built from M&R heavyweight sides).....

A drop in coach interior for those wanting to "rebuild" MT parlor cars into coaches might not be amiss. Or for that matter, replacements for the coach itself, as over the years, many coaches were redone with lower density interiors- 66, 60, 54, 48 for instance. 

I like the idea of something "modular"- even though it might not be as perfect as a specific interior for each and every design of car, it would let the design cost be amortized over many more units- which would help keep costs in check for all of us.

Almost all seats (benches?) are facing in one direction.

How do I determine in which direction the seats should be mounted in the Lima car? The Lima car (coach) looks symmetrical me.

On second thought, if the Lima coach is symmetrical, it doesn't matter how I mount the seats.

Do these coaches have an A and a B end? How do I determine which one is which?
