Modifying old posts

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but ...

Why can I modify my old posts in my layout design thread here ( https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?action=search2 ), but not in my Intermountain box car lowering thread here ( https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=40058.msg492500#msg492500 )?  I sometimes have to update the image URLs when hosting sites change, so I need this capability.

I think the Modify Post feature has been temporarily turned off to fix the recent issue of people storming off and deleting everything they've posted in the past.

Just remember your posts and try it in a few days.

How best should I contact the guys who run this site, in order to find out when they will turn editing back on?  Hope it's not permanent ...

Yes, we really need do be able to do that again. I'm willing to take an oath never to delete any useful posts when I do decide to leave TRW.  :)
