It’s been awhile since I’ve posted….I’ve had some technical difficulties uploading photos.
….been working on the scenery gap between M. Hohmann Co. and Victor’s Coal & Lumber……

…and the coal unloading area VC&L…

Team tracks are great.  No industry to model and many types of cars can be switched there for inbound or outbound loads.

The ballast on the tracks (except the team track) is Woodland Scenics. The gravel on and around the TT is sifted real gravel from a local hiking trail. I’ve tried it before for roads and lots, but it was never fine enough. I finally found an extra fine strainer at home goods and was able to get gravel a bit finer than the WS ballast.

Not a lot of people model what appears to be late fall. You have done a great job!

It appears again we all need to quit modeling, Utopia has been achieved.

Awhile back Ed Kapuscinski and others commented that late winter scenery would still have some green. I didn’t disagree at the time and I finally got around to trying it.

Added a hint green in some areas….

I’m happy with the results and will be adding more…..

Working on the scenery between the track and facia, from the pine tree in the distance to the line-pole at bottom right. Team track is to the right of that pole...it’s not finished yet, but it’s no longer bare paint. This 48” stretch now give me 34 linear feet of continuous scenery….
