I love the hazy light in that picture. How did you do it?

I always make sure to wipe my cellphone lense with my shirt or something prior to taking photos because undoubtedly there's going to be some fingerprints on there.

Absolutely wonderful work.  You might go back to those more prominent trees and brush some runny plaster up the trunks to conceal the tape that binds the several stalks together.  With the leaves fallen on the ground, it's pretty obvious.  You can tint the plaster with craft paints, so you could probably apply it without having to pull the trees off the layout...  but put down some paper towel drop cloths first!

I really like your modeling going back to your N Scale L&N days so I don't mean this in a snarky way but if you're taking pictures with your phone, you should be sure to clean the lense with your shirt or something.
I know I've taken pictures with my phone and looked at them and thought, man this looks blurry.
I cleaned my lense and the results were much better.

To me, I see hazy, hot, and humid, which I know is not the look he is going for.

The lense isn’t dirty, it’s broken. Some photos don’t look so good because of it. Other photos get a nice, hazy, foggy effect I couldn’t achieve if I was trying....
