LOL - that was my thought exactly. What were you thinking?  But those could be used as chin-up bars by the conductor.  :)

Oh alright.  :)  It still looks odd to me.

I should have made them to be below the head light..... perhaps, I'll redo them.  Shouldn't take to much to shorten them a tad.

I use .125mm stainless and make the handrails .125mm wide. Paint increases the overall thickness and the stainless is strong enough to withstand handling. The Keyser Valley caboose has .125mm stainless grabs.

Your Keyser Valley caboose etchings are by far the best I have ever worked with Bryan.  I have a list of projects requiring etched wire parts.  Thanks for sharing the dimension guidelines.
