Was this already known?
Atlas 53' well cars and 53' containers.

The link references the Atlas page but it doesn't look to be updated with November yet.

I have no specific info but I've seen the FEC, SMW and TTX cars for a few years on the ZLCBR and ZBRLC that go through my neighborhood and Tehachapi. I'll plan to get one of each. Hopefully they fit Deluxe, Scale Trains and Kato 53' containers without issue.
I wonder what the prototype of the 53' container is? Is it different from the other 3 mentioned?

Ed

The green Hub Group and EMP schemes started around 2009.  UMAX started around 2011.

Hard to tell from the artwork what the container style is, it kinda looks like a sheet post on the sides but a corrugated on the top profile.  An exterior post version of the green schemes is 'needed', but would be a foob, I believe, for UMAX.  If it's a corrugated proprotype then too bad they chose schemes that are already done by others, but I suppose they'll be in demand from super modern modelers, and there's not too much now that hasn't been done by Kato, MT, and ScaleTrains.  Except JB Hunt of course.

Yea!  :)  More Gunderson...  :|

Seriously.  They'd get my money if they did their articulated Thrall car that they've done in HO.

Yes I remember seeing pics of UP trains with all-UMAX containers....  funny I would have thought it was earlier than 2011 but time sure flies...

What about the timeframe of the rebuilt well cars?

(And yes, I wish N-scale mfrs. would get over their allergies to JB Hunt and Thrall.)
