I only see the first photo, and I am logged into my gmail account and when I click on either of the two missing photos, I do not get any request to "log in"  I just get the minus-sign icon image coming up in a new window.

And by the way, Loren, they are nice engines!

... I wonder if it has something to do with the viewer needing to be logged in to google at the time of viewing, or something like that.

I doubt it. I don't have a Google account, and even block *.google.com and *.gstatic.com cookies. It plays havoc with some sites, but doesn't seem to have any bearing on viewing *.googleusercontent.com images one way or another on TRW.

Interesting... all three photos were visible when I viewed them at our studio an hour ago. Now, back home, only the first is visible.

Same here... can't see but the first one.

:|I too see only the first one. The other two do not even take me to a Google Login like some have reported they do. Wonderful work though. Nate Goodman (Nato). Salt Lake , Utah.   :|

This thread is turning into another "can't see photos" thread.  :|

This is weird. I now see the "do not enter" signs for the 2 of 3 photos. Regardless whether I'm logged into Gmail or not.   :?

To me that is not a minus but an European traffic sign Max.  :D

Like many others, all I see is the first photo, with no evidence the other two exist.

So you don't even see the light gray do-not-enter sign images in place of the photos?  That is what I saw once the photos disappeared for me. Then the blank white space where photos would be was later replaced by images of the small gray do-not-enter signs.

I think is just Loren trying to get us to buy N Scale so we can see the pix.

Only first photo visible.  2 and 3 shows a tiny box with an "X" on it.  Just adding another data point.   :D

One photo of terrific modeling followed by two gray circles with a white minus sign for me whilst logged into Google.

Loren, you have a gorgeous and very realistic-looking layout.   I have also seen other parts of your layout in your N-Scale Magazine articles.  Just beautiful!
The palm trees look just like live trees, and the LA Union Passenger Treminal is an easily recognizable landmark.  In 2005 I had the pleasure of taking Amtrak to LA and arriving at that station.  Was the model scratchbuilt?

I would also love to see some photos of the Bates Motel and the mansion.  That is such a cool scene!

Oh, I almost forgot (while drooling over the scenery): the DL-109s are also gorgeous!

Hi, Pete -

I scratch built L.A. Union Station from plastic and custom photo etched brass, and N-Scale magazine published my article about how I went about it some years back.

The palm trees were purchased from a firm called M-Tec at a train show many years ago. They're made using green parrot feathers that are trimmed to shape.

I'll post the Bates Motel and mansion scene next. That was also well covered in N-Scale magazine not too long ago.

Well, again a monkey wrench has been thrown into the works.

On the Rivarossi heavyweight thread, I posted a string of photos of my heavyweight cars. I didn't see anyone reporting they could only see the first photo and none of the others. Did my post with all those photos have this same problem or not, i.e. would a second viewing result in only the first photo still being visible and the rest gone?

I used the very same method in posting the DL-109 photos as I did the heavyweight cars photos.

To add to the mystery is the fact that many of us (included me) were able to see all 3 photos earlier on.  Bob ( @robert3985 ) seems to be our resident Google photos proponent and expert -- I wonder if he has any ideas.

I've been N-Scale Magazine subscribers since the initial issue. I remember few articles from you covering vehicle detailing (including those wonderful moving vans) and also the Bates Hotel/mansion. But for some reason I don't recall the info  about your Union Station. I'll have to dig up those issues and revisit your articles.
