Not yet, but Liquid Gravity has been on my "gotta get" list for a while. I also hope MBK gets around to stocking the extra-thin CA that sorta kinda goes with it, but they don't list it yet.

Six minute video on "Liquid Gravity" and no reference to its weight or material.... If it's nontoxic, it can't be lead. What is it made of? Did I miss something in translation?

Think it is just small steel beads. It is a pain to get it to pour into where you want it.

One bottle of Liquid Gravity is 240mg, or a little over 8 oz. A guesstimate is the bottle holds 100ml. Very roughly, nested spheres would be .75 the volume of a solid, so .75 * 100ml = 75 cubic centimeters. 240mg / 75 cm3 = 3.2 mg per cm3.

Steel is ~8 mg per cm3, tungsten ~17. So either my math is crap or my estimate of bottle size is off since the calculated density is half of what steel would be.

I was hoping for tungsten, but if it were there'd be a lot of emphasis on it in the video (and it would probably be much more expensive). I think I'll stick with Pinewood Derby weights.

It does have a dusty rust color to it. Sucks it's lighter than even steel.

Well, the math is off because as odd as it sounds, the volume of a sphere is only slightly more than half that of a cube of an equivalent diameter/side (.524) and we don't know the bottle size. Kind of lame to bring out a product like this and not mention its weight/density ....
And yea, I would love tungsten shavings!

That's not where the math is off, if it's off. Spheres don't nest like cubes, think more along the lines of a 3D honeycomb. I was avoiding doing the long math required to figure that and took the .75 as a SWAG (turns out the SWAG was darned close!). As to bottle size, I estimated from the photos that it was about 4cm (~1.5") in diameter and the contents ~8cm high in that bottle, and that worked out remarkably close to a very reasonable 100cm3. I would expect 100ml to be a standard size for commercially available bottles.

If the bottle is smaller than what I estimated, then it could be steel. I have a working hunch it could be small gauge steel birdshot. BTW, I found #12 lead birdshot (0.050" spheres) if anybody is interested. Ten pounds will ballast a whole bunch of N scale locos! ;)

Good point Mike, and I submit to your and Carl Friedrich's reasoning. Still, the stuff is damn light; I much prefer your #12 lead shot. Thanks for the link.

I bought mine on ebay about 6 months ago. I think just about anything is heavier, but this is convenient in certain places.
Some poured into the cap:

And the rusty look inside the bottle:

Can you measure afew for an average diameter?  Looks like all kinds of shapes.

That #2 lead is REALLY enticing.  Just gotta keep clean when using it.  Looks like an inexpensive long nozzle ketchup squeezer could work, or an empty large CA bottle with the tip snipped off to fit the 0.050 lead shot through.  That would keep your hands clean.
