Almost forgot to post the pictures of a kitbashed Atlantic one of the vendors brought to show me. Before I even got the chance, he said "not for sale."
The upside down photos seem to show that it was bashed from an old Rivarossi model (sold either by Atlas or Con-Cor).
Pedantic is a favorite word of a few core members here.
Looks like an Australian prototype (bottom of the world)
...they posted right side up...
No their not... better look again. (Man those pizza cutter flanges take away from what is otherwise a nice model.)
Technically, I uploaded the pictures after I rotated them on my phone with the built in editor, trying to make them appear right side up, so the image is correctly oriented for how it appears on my phone. Basically, I tried to fix them posting upside-down by turning the image upside down, which just made them post the correct way, which for this scenario, is upside-down.
Added a new member to the fleet this weekend thanks to the wonderful show @nscaleweekend put on in Altoona. It was a great show and I was happy I could attend. Was also a great place to meet a few other railwire members as well. Visiting the show gave me some great ideas and I cannot wait to get started on some new projects.
Hey Christian,Nice line up! Glad to see someone else likes the "Red Boxes" Granted, what's in my "Red Boxes" is a bit different than what's in yours. That J1 was a really nice runner, glad I caught it "in motion"
Ah the joy of new floor pans. If your replacing the master cylinder , don't lose the two spacers in between the firewall !
