Working on the Mobile Yard and Maint. Area. A bit more track to lay , roads and parking areas. And last but not least getting the reverse loops wired correctly. Then on to testing.

That is so cool!  And when I first saw the photos I thought it was N, H0 and 0 scale (with a giant quarter). Well done!

Really some great models... have to admit, I hadn't noticed that BCOL painted the grill work on the RDCs green until I saw your shot... I would say you captured the look pretty well!!!

The "Chicago's First Lady" sightseeing boat is a Pete Nolan kit that I built a few years ago.  The stand-in foamcore bridge is the next project. The stand- in is made from elevation drawings found on a website that has drawings for all of the major bridges on the Chicago River.  I'm sending the mock up off to be laser cut.

Even in the '50s, the need for parking space in downtown had to be satisfied by demolishing an old building.

I like #3 cause it's not your usual RR scenery solution, but #1 is nice, but with a really nice house.

Towards the end of the Skytop parlor cars on the Hiawatha, they suffered the indignity of sometimes having Flexi-Vans added behind them between Chicago and Milwaukee. Such is the case here. Imagine having paid the extra fare for a seat in the Skytop and having to stare at that. (Ask Charlie Vlk about that one!)

No, if it was I'd have to make the water even greener   The Chicago River on St Patrick's day is a sight to behold, though.

Styrene, .030"x.080" styrene strip on .020" sheet to get the precast look.

Made the trek to Altoona today with @Blazeman  ,  got a few goodies for YorkRail/Spring Grove on the Hanover Sub.

What fresh hell did I get myself into @randgust
