Ugh!!!!!  I hope she feels better.  And here I am thinking I will finally "The Ed".

:ashat: crew photo will still take place as planned per Ed's earlier instructions.  11am but still in front of BANTRAK?  Or somewhere else?  This is my first show so you guys will have to tell me where to go if somewhere else.

Maybe I'll come over and switch some blocks of cars for you...  As long as she's not THAT contagious!

Ugh. My wife has come down with something, on top of a dislocated knee.

She's going to be out of action for a while. Can understand you'll need to be close at hand. Interesting the ad on the page as I'm tapping this is about knee pain.

Ooh, that might work out. Give me a buzz.

Also, to further make things suck, last night I twisted my ankle too. This week has not been a good one.

That's the plan. After I pick Terri up from work.

Ron's comment made me realize that maybe we should do the photo at one of the vendor tables. I know last year @randgust had a hard time getting away from his table. Ron, are you going to have someone to cover for you?

I have no worries about leaving my table unattended for a bit, we're all N Scalers here.  Ed, sorry to hear of Terri's and your current mobility difficulties.

@tom mann is sad he can't make it this year as he is being held for ransom in Johannesburg.
His captors are making him weather things.   Many times in an artist will put out their best work when they are under torment.   His captors know that because of the nonstop Kenny G. they play for him, round the clock.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Well guys, how was it?

I'm so sorry I had to miss it.

I did have a decent consolation prize though: a few hours in the Lancaster County countryside inhaling coal smoke with my parents and their best friends.

It's been a rough week, and it was good to see them.

I wish I could have made it.  :(

I have been largely out of commission for a couple of weeks now with doctors and dentists visits for me and my lady friend.  Nothing serious, mostly checkups and tests, all with decent results, although several were about what's likely to end with a hip replacement for my friend.  I had hoped to be able to bring the small box cab from Chris33 and  even a few others but just couldn't get it done.

Here was my haul from the weekend.  Some small tools, an LTEX unit for YorkRail and a @randgust CF7 kit, along with a few cars.

Maine Central car will get weathered to look like this

Nice to see some old friends and meet a couple new ones.  Not sure on attendance, was busy but not packed while I was there, 11-1pm .  Vendors were sparse compared to last year, though it was nice to see MT and FVM reps there.

Sorry, no pictures from me...  :(

It was a fun weekend! Glad I got to meet some familiar names in-person! @Ed Kapuscinski I brought a bottle of Old Forester for you. I can't guarantee the bottle will still be full when I see you again...

I appreciate it! I'm sorry I couldn't be there, but being a good husband called.

I'd be both surprised and disappointed if you had chosen otherwise! I hope Terri feels better soon! You'll just have to plan another trip to Louisville, so I can give you that bottle of bourbon!  :)
