Walthers announced a bunch of items for HO tonight.  Didn't see any N scale mentioned.  39' 3281 Hoppers, a Jordan Spreader, a TON of UPS product, from tractors and trailers to a HUB and stores, mechanical reefers, Thrall 40' rebuilt well cars.  Info from over at MRH

So you are officially with Kato for this show? Nice! Congratulations!  Looks like they they recognized the advertising power of demonstrating that Unitrak has a place in high-quality realistic modeling.

Thanks, Peteski,
I'll be working with them at a number of venues in the next year- helping to promote T-TRAK, Unitrack,  N scale, and model railroading in general. Great group of guys

Back to the Atlas guesses for tomorrow's big reveal, think I will guess Gensets, first.  Second guess would be chop nose GP9, both of which I thought they did in HO (saves tooling costs) and both sounded like pretty good sellers.

If it was the chopped nose GPs and they came with sound, I'd buy a couple just to swap into some chopped nose GPs I built years ago!

Bowser should consider releasing something new in N, something finely detailed in N, something in an odd Alco switcher variety in N.

When Bowser announced the C415 in HO a year (two?) ago I asked them about it in N scale but they said they had no plans for any locomotives in N scale at that time.  This was from a Facebook posting, I don't know who actually responded or where the information came from.

I don't know if it's part of the NMRA Convention but Digitrax has announced a WiFi Loconet interface (again). This one seems not to be vaporware.

"You're really on the wrong path here... It's an electric locomotive, needs thunderstorm sounds"

A MILW Boxcab.  The only sounds needed would be horn, bell and traction motor blowers, because they already sounded like a DC electric train...

Has Kato requested a module incorporating their North American style crossing gate unit or, perhaps, an extended 180° corner module with their turntable?

So Atlas could do an h10-44 and an early H12-44 while still claiming it hasn't been done in plastic before :)

Not requested anything...just glad to be 'connected' to T-TRAK and anxious to promote it.
They also see it as a way to attract new modelers to the hobby. We've had much the same experience at our shows...an amazing amount of interest from those who have never modeled and want to try or start model railroading.

I spoke to a Bowser rep at Trainfest in WI a within the last few years and he said that Bowser was not planning to do locos in N scale.  I also asked him about offering an N-8 cabin car in N scale and he said that was unlikely since there were only a few railroads that used them.

Any rumblings about some different Unitrack pieces coming out for N, and Ho?
