The risers have been glued into place and are pinned until the adhesive (Loctite Power Grab) sets. I was going to use the same adhesive to glue down the track, but Unitrack is hollow underneath. Since that would require huge globs of adhesive, I think I'll look into double-stick tape to hold the track down, unless someone has a better alternative for securing Unitrack.DFF

Hot melt adhesive usually works well for attaching Unitrack to foam and you really only need to apply the glue at the outer corners of each track piece. Same may be valid for the Loctite Power Grab, but you might want to confirm that with a spare section of track and scrap piece of foam.
Awesome stuff here. Dave, I hope, if Aly should lose interest partway through construction, that you'd consider finishing her layout. Maybe even make it a little more "adult" with proper structures and such. It would otherwise seem like a waste.
EDIT: Oh, and as long as I have this N scale layout around, it will hopefully keep the TRW's N scalers off of this proud HOer's back.
I think that "THE RAILWIRE: Where H0ers are tolerated" would make a perfect banner image (probably because I coined that word and you embraced it). I'm thinking that for the image we could have a piece of H0 track with an N scale engine sitting in between the rails.
Lets all just pretend we never saw this post (smilies or not).
Something like this Peteski? *runs for cover*
