Progressing nicely, Aly! Will you have a place to use your Dad's train station?
That's awesome that your granddaughter likes to run trains and demonstrates control. My daughter also likes to run the train slow. I've actually told her at times that it's okay if she wants to run it a little faster.DFF
Send that to Kato for outside proof of concept, high speed + 9 3/4" curves + tall/long equipment doesn't equal disaster
At the end of the day, I sure hope a pink castle ends up on that layout!!Are you planning to leave the table as a blank slate and let her imagination run wild?Really cool..
This is just so great on so many levels.
"Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3 . . ."I am off to pick up Aly from daycare; she'll be so excited when she sees that she can run a train tonight. After work this afternoon, I set up the grades with the Woodland Scenics' risers and ran a full-blown test in both directions for several minutes at high speed, just in case Aly gets brave. It passed the childproof test. Here is the North Pole Express in push mode at ludicrous speed. It may have gone to plaid. I cannot believe that this thing stays on the rails, because those are 9-3/4" radius curves in the middle!DFF
