I'm curious why you printed them at an angle like that. I can't say I've seen anything like that before.
When you place the part at about 30-degrees you get full surface resolution on the angles. Because it's printing in layers you tend to see the form lines in the horizontal more than you would on the bias. Also if you were to end with a flat surface you stand a good chance of the detail pealing away from the project and sticking to the clear surface plate. The program will automatically orientate t he part and generate supports so as each layer is laid down and pealed up, it stays on the part.Joe
