Here is this morning's announcement from Trainworx:

"THOSE 70s GRAPHICS

Good Morning,

Trainworx is pleased to announce the N scale Kenworth W900a and K100a in popular 70s graphics.

The Kenworth conventional W900 Seminole scheme is the most popular paint scheme of all time.  Many truckers like it so well that they still apply this scheme to today's trucks, even if it is not a KW.  The trainworx N scale W900a is available for pre order in 6 different color combinations and 3 different sleeper configurations.

Two of the more popular K100a cab over paint schemes are the Salem and Potomac.  The Trainworx N scale K100a is available for pre order in 3 different color schemes for each of these popular paint schemes with 2 different sleeper configurations for each.  I will also be doing the Trainworx N scale K100 in a paint scheme to match a local truck owners rig down the way.  This gray and blue (truck down the street) is also available for you to pre order without the truck owners business name .

I'm sure that must mean KW parts won't be too far behind.
As a reminder, Brian or @Rasputen offers a nice kit for a KW W900 conventional complete with frame, tanks, stack and wheels.

I think the Atlas trucks are a bit cheaper, if that's what you need. Trainworx trucks have sold out pretty fast sometimes, so the demand for these higher quality models is there. I am glad these are available, and think the price is worth the details and quality. Maybe after seeing them have enough success with trucks, they or someone will make a line of cars with such detail. I'm pretty sure we have more truck models than cars in N scale at this point...

OK.  What is a "VIT" sleeper, and when were they introduced?   The 36" sleepers are fine for 1974, and the aerodyne are too modern.

The trucks themselves are fine for my era, although there's no way I can afford one of each.  I'll have to be selective.

VIT stands for Very Important Trucker, and I believe those sleepers were introduced in 1976, coincident with the original Aerodyne sleeper.  I will have to check my book on Kenworth trucks this evening to verify that date.

These look nice. Waiting for the grain trailers and lesser extent the bulk trailers. Hoping a contemporary petroleum/oil/gas trailer is in the future pipeline...

Carter:  Thank you.  That will make my choices easier, since they're also too new.  Unlike the aerodynes, I might still be able to sneak one in, as a "custom built" owner-operator truck.

I'd love to have a couple grain trailers, depending on their era.  What I'm really waiting for are the log trucks.
