I don't think Railroad Model Craftsman has any problem with it... just sayin'...
Besides, as long as you write an article with some other photos and technical details of how you made the model (some "value added" that wasn't on the web), it would still be useful and worth paying for to readers.

Hmm . . . I spoke about this last week with Kirk from the N Scale Raliroading and he wasn't too keen on publishing an article about a model or modeling method which was previously been posted on an online forums.  But OTOH, N-Scale Magazine published my 20-page FVM Hiawatha review/tuning despite the fact that similar info and photos were posted on the A-forum.
. . . 42 . . .

Here is the milled down boiler and modifications needed to fit the shell.  Once again, I have overly milled the frame because I plan on adding tungsten to the frame/ body shell.

Here is the latest work.  Appliances have been moved and my casting of the tender has been installed on the milled frame of a Bachmann long Vandy Tender

Jason,

You are right, I need to get my original AC-9 running. In addition, I have a second AC-9 cast and EM-1 chassis to make a second locomotive. Plus, I know a guy who made the following for me and I have just dropped working on it. Time to get going.

You may know the guy who made this.......

I cut down the B'mann tender and have the casting fitting well. The doghouse will not sit on top but will be set into the side against the backside of the oil bunker.

You posting again has awakened my desire for these locos.

Carl

PS: I apologize for interrupting your thread.

This appears to be with a 2-10-2 but I need it on the GS-1

Nice Carl,

Thats my GS1 casting who is building it for you?  Your correct you need same tender casting I've used for this P10 build.  That willl make a very nice running engine!
