I continued working on Medford Trains The Mill kit this week.  I ordered a bunch of interior details for the building from Model Tech Studios.  I cut a doorway in the divider of the mill to create a front and back room and am modeling it as a hardware store.

Decided to try my hand at some Maine Central Railroad passenger cars after my experience with this: https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=41784.0
It took a lot of extra decals and a considerable amount of cussing!

MEC RPO 412 (MTL with 4 wheel trucks):

I did a total of 12 cars. MEC purists may not be happy, but some of these cars are really close to the prototype. Others are not like the combine 501. I wanted to do the silver roof though. The neat thing for me was that the MEC had at least 3 green colors on their passenger cars; MEC Pine Green, Pullman/Olive, and the color on the #333 observation and the #332 a combine.  The 333 observation that I did came painted in that color from eBay. The car isn't right as far as windows, but I couldn't pass up the color. The MTL coach and RPO are factory painted undecs. I gave both four wheeled trucks as many MEC cars had them. The "Maine Central" across the top should be more spread out, but I ain't about to letter one letter at a time. Not with my hands. The Bachmann was also factory painted undec. and is a nice match for Pine Green. The two combines are painted with Polly S Pine Green. #521 had 4 wheel trucks added.  The decals were old Northeast Decals.
Still a lot of work to do with steps, stirrups, more weathering........  That's what makes it fun.

Finished renumbering a BLMA 60' PRR F47 flatcar to a road number I saw in 1989. I used ESM's G32C decal sheet for the new road number.  Also added COTS and U1 stencils to two Wheels of Time 53'6" NYC flatcars so that I can run them with my CR stuff.  Simpler summer projects while school is out.  Thanks.
