I wonder if you caught Bryan en-route to Pittsburgh?
Regrettably I will be unable to attend the Pittsburgh convention. I have a crisis at work that is preventing me from going.
It is only about 17' long, what could power an N scale version?
Oooohhhh... the guy just moves into HO and already saying N scale is too small.
I managed to get 2 DZ126 decoders installed and operating in a couple of older Atlas/Kato engines that I was trying to use CN-GP decoders in. The CN's wouldn't do a damn thing, swapped out for the DZ's with no modifications or changes and they work flawlessly . Think I'm done with the CN's.
Just figuring here. An N scale speeder would have something like a 1.210" x 0.365" opening for the chassis. That TU-TMC100 chassis is 1.292"x0.441" So if scaled down it wouldn't fit. So it would need to be 0.082" longer and 0.076" wider. Don't quote me on any of this **** I have no idea if this thing will print. Don't buy unless you want to be the guinea pig! This model is just scaled down and not adjusted to fit any chassis****https://www.shapeways.com/product/XDTG9WGJH/prr-speeder-for-n?optionId=62996100The heat map for wall thickness only shows very thin lines in red.
Thanks for the offer and time spent , I ordered 2 . If I need to I will section it and add shims to both widen and lengthen as needed . Piece of cake . Thanks again .
Is your work strictly ESM ?
