Well I will offer the Sketchup file to anyone who wants it, just don't sell it as is in HOn30 on Shapeways. I have no idea how to re-scale the model.

Added some wire bits. Now time for a coat of green paint.

Push comes to shove, you can rescale your model on the Shapeways "Edit model" page.  Not sure how well that even works, but it's there.

Oh I'm sure some pieces will need beefed up in N to be able to print.

Had two surprises today. First a package arrived and I found this Father's Day gift, Bacon Jerky !

I later went to Des Plaines Hobbies Father's Day Sale and ran into this lost guy from RailWire !

We need a knowledge person in HOn30 to N , and Shapeways  to do this correctly

Could you scale it down in SW, download the new file and put it back into Sketchup for any corrections?

If the model is HOn30 does that mean the body width is also narrow ? If so would it first have to be widened to HO first , then percent shrunk to N ?

That's what I'd try.

54% is correct, but I doubt it is that easy.  Like Richie says, the shell will have to be modified in other ways to make it into a viable N scale model.

Nice meeting you Doug!
Really nice models you brought, I'll have to plan ahead better next year and bring some stuff to bolster the N scale at BAPM.
