Got to run mine a lot at Altoona.
Also talked to the guy that actually runs real one!
Let's just say that the concept appears likely to stop at 3 units.

Like I told Randy today while he was showing it to me on his layout, amazing what you guys have done with these builds.  Far above and beyond anything I think I could come up with.

Similar to the German 0-6-0 BR 89 steam engine. 10 built in real and 'millions' as a model in all scales.

Speaking of German locos, Arnold (back when it was still made in Germany) made coupe models of industrial. They are about the same size but not as tall as the TP56. Minitrix also made a critter similar to the one on the left (with factory-installed DCC decoder).

Here they are compared to the Kato truck (I didn't have the exact truck used on TP56).

They run quite well and go through switches nicely even at a moderate speed and not only at warp speed...

I made measurements and a drawing of the frame.

My drawing fills in a spot that is not present in my frame (because I pieced mine together).

So if I was going to make another, these are the dimensions I would use.

Holes are 00-90.

Apparently these are a small genset with batteries - not just a direct generator drive.  Hence the small power plant.  Has to charge up before it can be run.  Or you can just fire up the trackmobile.

Mine runs a heck of a lot quieter on pure DC than it did on the video on my transistor throttle.

Pretty much silent.

Yeah.  That makes sense since they Are advertised as Tier 3 and 4 locomotives.

Anyway, I guess I don't have to worry about adding sound.
