The N Scale Vehicle Association will be facilitating the 13th Annual Vehicle of the Year Awards at the National N Scale Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  If you are unable to attend the convention, but would still like to vote, here is the list of nominees:

Nominees for N Scale Vehicle of the Year Award: Assembled Model – Vote for one:

You may use this thread to vote “publically” or send me an email to vote “secretly”.  Please indicate one (1) assembled model and one (1) kit model for which you are voting.

The CMW Ford Box is the only one I have purchased, so I will have to vote for that. For the kits, it has to be the GMC 9500 just because it is closer to the transition era.

Funny, that is how I am going to vote (in-person at the convention).  It was a tough call between the wrecker and the Kenworth dump truck (a gorgeous and well-detailed model). But it is more like a Lego set where you just assemble the pre-painted pieces, where the Wrecker is a "real" kit.

Is it me, or the number of choices is small this year? Not even a single passenger car?

I noticed that aswell, and two of the RTR candidates are models from the 1990s...

Since we changed from the New and Enhanced categories to the Assembled and Kit (or unassembled) categories several years ago, the number of models in each category dropped from 6 to 4.

I think that if a poll is created each member can only vote once.  But you don't know who voted.  :)
