common cathode to common anode converter

I have a signal controller with LED common cathode output
and some ready assembled signals with LED common anode
wiring. I have a circuit to go from common anode to common cathode
using a quad opto isolator. Can this be wired to give the reverse effect?
Or any other helpful pointers.

Point me to the opto-isolator circuit and to the signal controller circuit (if available).  You shouldn't need an opto-isolator (it is a bit of an overkill),  but I think it was used for ease of hooking it up, and for universal compatibility.
