Primed.  I sure hope that my last can of Testor’s Light Aircraft Gray is still good, because, as recommended by DKS, it’s a great base color for concrete.

The bridge got its first, and hopefully last, coat of paint.  That's because I have no choice; I've used up my last can of Testor's Light Aircraft Gray, and we all know that's discontinued.  So, I used every spit I could get from the spray can to try to get complete coverage, and the end result is that this is not the smoothest paint application I've ever done.  But, it's concrete, so a little roughness isn't the end of the world.  There may be a few spots that the light gray primer shows through, though, but we'll call that weathering.

Some weathering after the paint cures, and this bridge is finished.  I'll need to start cutting in the 0.060" black styrene for the asphalt highway approaches, but I'll wait a few days to let the paint cure on the bridge before I start messing with that.

Relative to the layout in general, that's pretty darned quick.   ;)
You've done a really nice job Dave.  It's quite a scene.

Yeah, you’re right, Bryan.  The layout has been my Corona-project this year, and I have made a lot more progress in the last nine to twelve months than I have ever.

Thanks,

Dave,

Nice job on the bridge build.  I've enjoyed following your progress on this project and the rest of your layout.

Is your Light Aircraft Grey the same as Light Ghost Grey? If that is the case it’s a Federal Standard and widely available. Pretty much all of the model paint manufactures off it.

I don't know.  And, me being colorblind, I'm the last person that you want to ask to do a color match.
