@Point353 and @davefoxx sure, both examples you provided are over railroads, but aren't they both also over roads?
I would generally agree with you, @wazzou, but Ed's Law. Aaaaaaaaand, in the ACL picture above, that dirt road barely qualifies as a road (look it up on Google Maps- Old Trussell Road in Junction City, GA), and I would probably bet money that it was once a siding to an industry at the left, which has been removed. They never would have built that wide an overpass for that dirt road.DFF
I would have just brush painted the beam with craft store paint.

Nah, man, you're careful. Besides, the beam could use a hint of rust anyway, which would cover any sins.I'm like Chris (not in terms of skill of course) in that I'm more into grabbing a brush and getting in there than I am about firing up the old airbrush. For me, laziness is a tremendous motivator.
