Think you have to do it now. Plus HO scale dynamite

Edit.  Push a button. The "song" plays. Gopher pops up and does the twist. Hey DKS got a minute?

What about an angry gopher throwing back golf balls...

A few hydrangea bushes added and a little focus stacking:

Unfortunately, I’ll have to build a few trees and scrub brush to finish this scene.  I’ll have to be careful with the placement of trees, because I don’t want to lose this viewing angle.

Heh, I saw those, too.  I haven’t pulled the trigger on them, but I do have some WS golfers on the way.

Still think it needs some fencing and a couple of No Trespassing signs.    Even in the 60's, no railroad wants that much exposure to liability.

There’s ones today that are just like this, no fencing or anything from the railroad to the green; there’s several public park areas that butt up to rail lines in SC and GA that lack this as well; I think it might be a southern thing. Given that Dave’s layout is in North Carolina, he’s set.

Yikes!  Thankfully, there aren’t many gators in the Sandhills.

This link will take you to the Royal Adelaide Golf Club, with the Grange line running through it. No fences, simple crossings, and I think half-hourly railcar service passing through from Woodville to Grange, west of the CBD:
