It came out nice and I like that you did narrowed it up a bit.

You mean the font or the way it's laid out?

That is after it was converted to standard gauge.  :P

Just the font.  However, I do like the angled  'AND'.

The body will get toned down with weathering, but this is the color I'm going with.

Got to do a little more detailing on these 3 buildings. Hotel just got a chimney. Watering hole got shingles and a chimney and more paint. Blacksmith got a sign. Didn't want to add a sign cause it was too "modelrailroadly", but I found photos of a few local blacksmiths and they all had signs, some even had the whole front painted like a billboard. Still lots more to do.

I sent out an e-mail for a sheet of custom decals... I designed a 3D gondola and boxcar based on Ohio River & Western prototypes. No pics right now, but a few of the OR&W flats and gons were made in Youngstown by the Youngstown Car Manufacturing Company. This is NOT Youngstown Steel Door Company that everyone knows of or Youngstown Steel Car Company that made some Erie flatcars. When I read this in the OR&W book I'd never heard of it and looked it up. Here it was right at the famous Center Street crossing.

And here it is today (notice the steel mills are all gone)

I decaled up a boxcar and just the "MCC&C" uses up all the "C's" on the sheet, a sheet costs about $7 bucks these days. So having a custom sheet printed is really gonna save me a little bit of cash.

Really like the look of your buildings Chris, the colouring looks very supple.

Subtle or supple?   :D

By the way, @Chris333 , talk to me about that middle false-front structure.  Where did that come from?

The 2 sidewalls came from company house kit (City Classics) You can get in a 3 pack. The front is scratchbuilt.

And I added a door with staircase to the side. Yeah not much "kit" left.

Yeah, the more I compare your structure to the City Classics house, the more I'm thinking a straight scratchbuild would be cheaper and probably easier given that I don't have the parts already on hand as undoubtedly you did.  That structure would look perfect for an HOn3 module I'm building.

Thanks!

I didn't post photo of the cars because I was going to finish them today, but have since ordered decals and will re-do them when they show up. So here is what I made.
Boxcar is based on OR&W 25' car, but it look too squat so I made the car body about 1' taller than proto.

And this gon is off a OR&W 31' car that I shortened a few feet.

All 3D printed with wire bits added.

I’m really tempted to report your post to the moderator, because you’re making us all look bad.   ;)
