Curious, what sheen would you describe it as then?
Future (or whatever its current name is) is an acrylic floor finish. It will put a high-gloss on your floor, or on any other surface you apply it to. But you you can flatten it by adding some Tamiya flatten agent. I never got into using Future on my models, with the exception of making my model car windows glossier.
