Yes, lots of brass castings. About a dozen, not including all the brass wires for piping and handrails and so on. The video shows a little of that.

It doesn't really have quite the slow-speed smoothness of a Blackstone, but it pulls many times more cars than even a Blackstone K-27, so I guess it's a wash on performance. It pulls a lot more than the prototype C-25 ever could!

The new Pro Patria Mill looks great.  I thought the old one looked good but the new one does provide a better representation of the size of the prototype.  Oh BTW Scott McLeod was asking you to contact him off list on the RGS groups.io list if you missed it.

Looks excellent. I’ve probably said it before but the photo backdrop really makes it for me. The dirt really ties in well/the overall ground cover. You got the dirt from the actual location IIRC? Care to share how you weathered the shed? Dry brushing?

Yes, that's Placerville dirt from near Vanadium where the backdrop was photographed.

The barn is just wood stained with India ink/alcohol with a few accents of a homemade stain with brown acrylic paint and then drybrushed with a barnwood-colored acrylic.

The meeting at folk art where they name all the colors that day must have been interesting...looks like a good weathering color though.
