Did you make those rock outcroppings in some sort of flexible material, à la John Armstrong?

The lighter color is a flexible foam rock...the darker color is my "goop" made of Hydrocal, Sculptamold, and latex paint.

Working on shimming and leveling Bridge 45A at Ophir.

Bridge 45B at Ophir will eventually get handrailings for the deck.  I also adjusted the second bent from the left after the photo to center it on the "concrete" footing.

Meanwhile Rico-bound Goose #5 trundles across Bridge 57B at Gallagher.

I’ve completed the basic scenery contours as far as “Windy Point” (below Ophir, just west of Bridge 45A) and am ready to lay track from Bridge 45A to Ames.

You know, I actually really like the trackless scene there. You need to take a few figures and add them for a quick rendition of the scenes toward the end of this:

Great vid!  That tender down the cliff at Hell Gate still reads "COLORADO MIDLAND" in faded white lead paint.

Thanks for posting this link Ed.
Wouldn't normally bother looking at such things but glad I did this time.
Mopac power, D&RGW in several forms of locomotion and BN 'rights' trains (or maybe the Joint Line) U-boats. Nice!!!

Dave what brand of pines are you using? I have been using Heki smaller and medium-tall. the 4-6 inch
are better looking that the 100 1-3 inches for 25 bucks. I put the smaller ones in the back and bigger
ones up front. Only get 12 of the taller ones for the same price.

JTT trees.  I really like their "conifers," but have also used their "spruce" and "scenic pines."  The "scenic pines" are too uniform and full (as well as way too green) out of the bag so I trim and paint them.  I've also painted the spruces too.  But am using the "conifers" as-is.

I have a few JTT mixed with the Heki trees. I need to trim, paint and adjust these as well.

I didn't hear "Rye-oh" at all out in RGS country.
