Santa Fe Shock Control Boxcars

I am wondering if I should even bother with this thread with all of the Confail fans out there on the forum... *
   
But here it goes anyway.
I am having a bit of difficulty trying to track down photos or any type of roster/roster shots with the various different boxcars that were painted in the Shock Control or Super Shock Control schemes... I have tried going through rrpicturearchives.net but going through hundreds of photos while being sick is tiring (I woke up when my phone slapped me in the face.) I did see a book online all about this subject, but there is no way I can drop some $50 on a single use book...
A lot of this was started up when I found, bid, and won an LGB Santa Fe Modern Boxcar 41930 that I would like to decal to a actual number that either fits that boxcar style or close to it... (since like 90% of g scale is foobie anyway)
But it would also help as ideas to fix my current n scale roster as well.
So any info would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently the Shock Control schemes started in 1958 and lasted into the early 1980s according to this book/site: https://www.abebooks.co.uk/Santa-Box-Cars-Shock-Control-1954-1995/14290264541/bd, so there should be an abundance of photos online of box cars of endless types online (I don't know what that LGB box car looks like).

Topeka shops installed a 10-inch travel 'Shock Control' sliding center sill under frame in a Bx-66 Class box car in June 1958. Numbered, 10001 and re-classed as a Bx-77 with a new Indian red and black paint scheme with a large Santa Fe herald and new advertising slogan 'DF with Shock Control' splashed across the car side, this car ushered in a new era in box car construction. From then on, nearly all new classes of Santa Fe box cars were fitted with either a Shock Control, or a Super Shock Control under frame, introduced in 1961. From the above link

Ok, I looked around, googled what the 41930 looks like, and found a car that is at least in the ball park I think:

If you don't have any objections to buying a relatively inexpensive single use book, Stephen Priest's ATSF boxcar book is an excellent source of information:

@Mark5 That is the book I was trying to avoid!  I'm not saying it wouldn't make a great resource, but I feel like I wouldn't get my money's worth out of it.. but I could be wrong, just $50 is hard to drop on a book... I has trains that needs buying!

Also that is a much cheaper book... more in my price range...

Now you'd think I'd hate to read based on my comments over prices of books, but I'd read more if books were cheap/free as I love to read. Heck I spend most of my time reading all the knowledge from people on this forum...
This forum has become one of my favorites due to the fact there are a lot of technical threads here, and most days that suits me...

That is exactly what I'm looking for. I saw a few were labeled BX-190 but that series seems to fall in with a FMC plug door boxcar as well... so idk what to believe...
now that I know they were 15XXX series finding decals will be hard for that boxcar.

You made this a lot easier for me, I don't currently have a PC, so doing all that via mobile device is a pain. Not to mention I was looking in the wrong section... like 100k+

FMC plug door cars like the MDC model (but with a flat X-panel roof) are BX-182

Thanks for the book links guys.  Sure would be nice if there was a Santa Fe equivalent to Railgoat's SP pages.  Oh well.

One option might be this:

The largest numbers scale out to about 4 3/16" in G scale - I'm not sure if that is large enough.

There are pictures of two repainted cars on page 175 in addition to one in RBOX paint on page 174.
