N Scale Supply emailed that mine have been shipped, but the package hasn't arrived yet.  Probably Friday or Saturday.

Mine arrived today, and look nice.  I am a little put out with Athearn on their "CB&Q 3-pack", as it only has one CB&Q, the other two being FW&D.  If they had labeled it "Burlington 3-pack" that would have been accurate, as the cars are all the same scheme, with the large "Burlington" and 3-color herald.

I can use the FW&D just as well as CB&Q, so it's not really a problem, but it could be for someone who actually wanted CB&Q cars.

Got mine today direct from Horizon Hobbies - they were every bit worth the wait since I first laid eyes on the sample at the NTS in Kansas City in August 2018...

Beautiful cars. Ugly couplers. What can we replace them with?

LEZs?  :D ;)

I received my Union Pacific high mounted brake wheel car, which is a pre-71 design.  Athearn printed a new date of 6-78 on it.  On the HO car they printed a new date of
7-66.  Wish they could have got the N version correct.  :RUEffinKiddingMe:

You'd think they'd use the same artwork (vector)

So, I'm curious.
Does anyone know what the spotting feature differences are between the 4600cf and 4650cf cars?

I believe the 4600 cubic foot center flows are Plate B cars that are around 55’ long.  While 4650 cubic foot center flows are Plate C cars that are around 50’ long.  The 4650 cars are therefore taller height wise yet shorter length wise compared to the 4600 cars.  Thank you.
