Looking for the correct set of MTL trucks

I have a couple of the Red Caboose 62' beer cars and I've having a hard time tracking down the proper trucks to fit these?  They are the same trucks that they used on the their 71' Center Beams.

They're shorter than the Long Ext and longer than the Med Ext.
MTL's #1024 is a Med (+) Ext and it's still too short.

Any ideas?

Best to check with Fox Valley (as they now own the Red Caboose tooling) or with Micro-Trains (as they can tell you the trucks utilized by RC for the various models).

Speaking for myself, truck-mounted couplers chap my @$$.

There are some nice cushioned coupler boxes available on Shapeways as referenced on this thread:

Also note that one of the photos shows a Red Caboose 62' RBL.

There's also a good chance that the car you have should have 100T trucks to match the prototype rather than the 70T MTL trucks that came with it.
