Richie:  Did you notice the error on the header picture in-picture caption?

"Trackwomen at the B&O Railroad, 1934", but the next sentence says 1943.  Rosie The Riveter didn't just work in factories!

Sure did , but then I didn't read the whole deal , search for it , if it was there at all . The center gal is a bit old to be shoveling , along with the fur collar , and the shinny shoes I think she is the gang boss of the others . The one with the way off different color gloves ( I let you all come up with the punch line ) .

Kids are like 2 legged cats . Look how close that adult elbow in a coat are to the street lamp .

My thoughts exactly, its who is leading/teaching/showing the kids that you generally have to worry about, not the kids themselves.

Slide the code 80 out and the 55 in. Im not using any turnouts on this so you're on your own there. Otherwise, it's pretty easy.

Adam Draskovich

I thought that should be able to be done.  I recently asked in another post if that couldn't be done with code 40 in code 55 flex track.  I can imagine that the rail foot might be narrower but without any in hand I don't know that or, even if it is, how bad is it?

It's not bad. I don't think it's loose enough to cause any problems.

I'd be nervous if they were unknown kids :-)
My youngest is 10 and that's his UP 844 (the passenger cars are mine). Half of what they are are their cars and they rarely run any of my locomotives. They've been asking for locomotives as birthday and Christmas gifts since Kindergarten. They are really good at handling them. Three years ago (at 9 years old), my older son helped an older modeler put a never run brass cab forward on the tracks. THAT made me nervous! He did a great job though. I've been training them to be N scalers since they were born :-) They first operated on the FreeMo-N layout at the 2011 NTS show in Sacramento at the ripe ages of 5 and 6....ran the place for 3 hours with only a single baloon track, a wye and two legs....3 trains!

Who are you and what did you do with MC Fujiwara?   :D :D

That's an impressive setup.

I preordered a Tomix Thomas set a couple months ago and it finally came in this week. I've been quite happy with how nice the little guy performs.

I finished up this pair of Alco's for a friend that used to work for the railroad.  They did not have any Alco's on the roster, but his favorite is the FA and he always wanted to see the paint scheme applied to one.

Big thanks to JDG for turning a Kato CSX SD70M into EMDX Leaser #7023

That the paint scheme they were born at EMD and live with  before CSX horse traded for them, so its fitting that a CSX unit got repainted to EMDx. I remember when that happen because I saw them right after CSX got them and before they got repainted.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.
