There are 2 different  sound files in ESU Sellect Micro sound catalog for  Gevo units, 75815 and 73823. Which is appropriate for the Conrad heritage locomotive?

Looking at the ESU sound sample page, I don't see a 75815. Where did you see that number? Perhaps it is a pre-"Full Throttle" file number?

They are both there.  The 7x415 is V2.0 of the GE GEVO-12 (Full Throttle) sound file and the 73x23 is the V1.0.  Someone (milw156?) posted the same question on the ESU LokSound Yahoo group. There are two different files.  Speculation is that they are so you can have different sounding prime movers in the sam locomotive model type, but there is no positive confirmation from anyone at ESU (Matt Herman) yet.

The 7x415 file is the very first listing for GE GEVO-12 V2 (FT), the 73x23 is about 5 entries down.

Thanks for that info. That was me on Yahoo, don't know why I didn't ask here first! I know very little about GEVOs, or about me or CR quirks.

But does it come with the "authentic oil leak and engine shutdown" sound?
