I thinks Brian already offers that P/U casting but I suspect you'll have to equip it with apparatus yourself.

Wow, very nice looking! :o The level of detail is quite impressive! Going to have to give some of these cars a try!

Question....I see some of the cars are looking perhaps a little jacked up. Can they be assembled to have a little lower ride by the modeler?

If not, perhaps sanding a little bit of a flat spot on the bottom of the tires might do the trick.

The images are taken with the body just resting on the chassis, so sometimes if I didn't set them down properly they can look a little jacked up at one end, like the 61 Olds.   On most of them you can lower the body further by scraping away some material from strategic locations, like the top of the instrument panel or the rear package tray.  The underside of the cowl is usually pretty thin already so I wouldn't recommend removing any material from the body, but this varies from model to model.

These are great models that fill a need for the 50's-80's era modeler...my friend's jaw dropped at the detail when he saw the GM fishbowl buses I picked up for him...

Bryan, try a black background.  Use twin diffused lighting slightly above the models.  Expose for the model and not the background of course.  Fiddle with the exposure compensation until you get the correct contrast you desire.

The yellow background is a big improvement over the original photos, but I agree that a darker (black or dark gray) background might work even better.

Hmm... I think a paisley
background would be
amazing...

I have some additional vehicles available, first is a 1941-47 Chevrolet COE tractor, a seven piece kit: ($6.00 each)

Also available is the 1941-47 Chevrolet COE cab and chassis unit, a seven piece kit ($6.00 each)

The chassis is a 164 inch wheelbase, and there is 15 scale feet between the back of the cab and the end of the frame on the assembled model.

Also available is a 1941-47 Ford COE cab and chassis unit, a seven piece kit ($6.00 each)

The chassis for the Ford has similar dimensions to that of the Chevrolet shown above.

The above are all shown with the flash removed from the individual pieces for viewing purposes.

Also available is this 1954 GMC PD-4501 Scenicruiser bus: ($8.00 each)

Here it is shown painted and assembled, with acrylic gloss medium used for widow glazing:

The mirrors and wipers are not included.  I used A-Line HO scale wipers on this example.  Be prepared for lots of careful masking in order to complete this model.  I used Floquil reefer white, followed with Floquil bright silver, followed with a custom mixed Floquil blue.  The rear also requires some black painting which I did by hand. The passenger windows have one coat of normal gloss medium, followed with another coat of gloss medium combined with a mixture of Tamiya acrylic clear blue and clear green.  The marker lights were also painted with Tamiya clear orange and clear red.  I spent over a week of masking and painting on this sample.
