True.

I had high hopes, then saw them in action. They're probably ok from a distance, but from a distance, so are the MTL trip pins.

Hopefully further revisions occur. I do think this would be a cool thing to have working, especially alongside the new MTL couplers.

They are oversized for N. I ordered some when they first came out, but I cancelled the order. In retrospect I'm glad I didn't install these on any cars as the magnet size detracts from any decent looking car.

What would be nifty keen cool is working electric connectors the were magnetic . Those in pairs could solve the winky passenger car lighting by bridging all cars in parallel with each care also having PU from the track . Multi lashups get the same benefit . Even if we had to coax the magnets together and apart it would be easier than a plug .

I agree they look way too chunky. Not to mention I think someone who wanted to have these, could make their own out of tiny magnets, and thread, and end up with nicer looking results!

I think that finding very small rare-earth magnets in the hobby market is the tough part.
