With a lot of grain moving, CN has reactivated most stored units like the SD75I and C40-8M flanking the SD70M-2 on this intermodal. Not all SD75I's were stored, but they're definitely more common now. Interestingly the SD60F's appear not to have been returned to service.

Is there a n scale model to match this?  What a great tag.

ExactRail released multiple runs of 6275 50' boxcars for FBOX.  That tag looks like those of last month's MT weathered (Monster cars) releases.

Speaking of stored units started seeing 9500 series AC's (with steerable trucks) and a 5900 series SD40-2 through Red Deer last week!

The Dash 2's live on CP!

With the bypass of CSX's Virginia Ave tunnel almost complete,  Baltimore becomes one of the last obstacles for double stacks along the CSX in the area...Q031-16 @ Sisson St in Baltimore. There was a  crew working here, possibly surveying to increase clearances on  the Huntingdon Ave overpass in the distance.

A number of SD40-2's have been reactivated for winter. Word is for plow service... which makes no sense but that's what the street is saying.

SD40-2's known to be reactivated: 5833, 5873, 5878, 5908, 5919, 5943, 5973, 6017, 6050, 6054, 6064, and 6067.

We had 5973 as our second unit today, had to isolate it half way through the trip. It will be interesting to see how long they last... Am glad we had a gevo leading tho, day and night on the inside :)

My meaning was that CP does not run plows very often, it at all any more. Cat tractors used far more often nowadays. They run the odd flanger as necessary, but CP has a ton of AC44's and ES44's sitting around.

Not that I'm complaining... love to see some back.
