C&EI.  I'm in.  Anybody know where I put my 2 bay hopper issue of the Flyer?  Can't find it anywhere.

Probably under the pile of stuff on your desk...that is where mine was.
We got some great info from them.

BTW- I just discovered that the CEIHS still has some of the USRA hoppers for sale.  I don't think they have them up on their website, but if anyone is looking for some, you might want to contact them.

How are these different from the Atlas offset hoppers?
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Ours are made with the finest ground up rotary telephone plastic you can find.
We love Atlas so give me a break....you will find they are a little more detailed and being Bluford Shops we will be running road names that other
folks will not run. It made sense for us to do this car so we could try to explain the advantages of using telephone plastic and how it benefits the world. :D

Lol, that works for me!
Still, I wish some future projects would also include three or four bay, outside braced steel and wood sided cars. And you can use any kind of plastic you like' :D

I'm just waiting for when you release the 30'6" 2-Bay Panel Side hoppers in Central Vermont brown paint OR the 30'6" USRA 2-Bay Hoppers and hope for a six number release!!  :D
The black scheme is too early for me.  :(

I don't see why it was necessary to issue a model of a prototype when there is a viable relatively new model already available.  It's not as if the excellent Atlas model has incorrect proportions or is poorly tooled, or that new schemes are not actively being released.  Being that Bluford is in a two-bay hopper phase, there are other prototypes yet to be tapped that could have been rather than reinventing the wheel.
Mr Bussey,as policy we( Bluford Shops) do not critic other manufactures for the choice they may make.Myself as well as some others find it very unprofessional for you (ESM) to do this.
