Atlas dropped it's November new product announcements today.  New number and new paint schemes, no new items, but that not a surprise since it was previewed in the summer catalog.

New ALCo RS-1 stuff:  http://www.atlasrr.com/NLoco/nrs1e.htm

New PS-2750 Hopper schemes and numbers: http://www.atlasrr.com/NFreight/nps2750b.htm

More Trainman™ 50' boxes: http://www.atlastrainman.com/NFreight/tmn506boxcar.htm

Gotta save some surprises for Trainfest, you know...

So, lets start a multi page speculative thread on what Atlas could possibly offer as a surprise product at Trainfest. Now that the WS is over we need some entertainment in here.

You do know that it wasn't Atlas that mentioned any surprises, it was the fellow that posted the catalog update, correct.   :?

EDIT
I now see what you are referring to, but in the interest of fair posting, you probably should have included Paul's quote as a separate line rather than leave the indication of coming from the OP.   ;)

Atlas buys The Railwire.

Then shuts it down.

He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

GP30's tooled this century?  :)

Parts for cars made in the last 8 years?  :(

On semi-serious note, a 40' steel meat reefer would be a nice addition to their line up and is very much needed for N scale.

Atlas's big surprise?

They've hired @peteski for Cory's old job.

Umm... Dee's gone! She lost so many bets on the World Series that she couldn't pay off, so she disappeared.

What am I gonna do now? Nobody'll read my posts anymore.
Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"
