DCC wiring for a wye, Digitrax AR1

I would like to get my wye wired up so I can use it from both directions.  I have a Digitrax AR1.  Could you please let me know where I need to cut gaps/insulate rails using the following picture ?

Mainline runs to the left, and to the right, with a branchline that dead ends out the top of picture across the bridge.

I'd cut the four rails just this side of the turnout near the bridge, so that the dead-end lead would be separated electrically.  Wire that section through your AR1, and you should be good.

I second Dave's suggestion.

With your auto reverser, I'll fourth it... Simple and clean.
But, just to be contrary and assuming the tail track beyond the bridge is a dead end, you don't really need an auto reverser. A DPDT tied to the switch will do the job a lot cheaper... just sayin' :D

I agree - I mentioned this type of simple solution in a thread about reverse loop (which is a similar scenario). https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=39978.msg490993#msg490993
