Today I installed my LED strip lighting on the layout display that is built under my N scale HCD layout that I'm building in this forum.
These layout sections were built by the husband and wife who introduced me to model railroading about 20 years ago. A lot of the countryside buildings are scratch-built. These modules are 48″ long and 12″ deep. Two of them connect on one wall, then three on anther wall at a 90 degree angle (L-shaped shelf layout). This layout is truly a work of art, and I hope that someday I will have a layout room with the space for me to connect the modules together and connect it to one of the two tracks that run off my HCD layout (I added those tracks for possible layout expansion someday!)
Anyway, here is a video along with some pictures.

Wow, those are stunning modules. Thank you for sharing.

It’s been a couple of months since my last update. I have done different projects on the layout during my free time. I finished installing the fascia around the train yard side of my layout. Now the fascia is completed around the layout – it just needs to be painted. I also built and finished installing my new control panel and relocated it to the end of the layout so it wouldn’t obstruct the view of the modules on display below. Today I built the sub roadbed for a road going along the back of the layout and started forming some of the hills and platform for one of my industries. Everything looks messy right now, but it will clean up very fast!

A lot of the pix in your earlier posts are not displaying. Do you have a drawing of the track plan?

Yeah some of the links broke... I also have a blog of all the pics since the beginning of the layout at www.nyc-railroad.com. Not sure if I have a track plan on there or not, but it's very easy to see what the track plan is in some of the pictures.
