He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Brian,

Thanks for the breakfast update.

For myself, from the list, I can see some of the Atlas 60' passenger cars (baggage and RPO), a "vintage" DQ, just maybe a smelter, more Bluford hoppers, and just maybe a couple FM flatcars.

And congrats to Matt from WoT.
Tom D.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Wow, thanks for the update!

Dumb question on the Atlas 60' cars - I thought these were more like 72' prototypes shortened for O-scale curves. 60' 1910-30 or so heavyweights were actually real?

Wow!!!  Oddly enough I have had a feeling that Atlas would be offering passenger cars...

There were indeed 60' coaches and baggage - coaches that were rostered by the Chicago & Northwestern, and some coaches similar to these were also ran by Soo Line... this could be great for modelers with smaller radius curves!!!  The obsy, unfortunately, is a major foobie, taking the detail of a 72' car and shrinking it down to the 60' length.  Too bad... we really need a good single windowed coach in N-scale.

Edit:  My bad, Soo's coaches were different from the CNW cars, having small bathroom windows bracketing the paired coach windows.

Could full-length cars be far behind???

Gordon, it is indeed been a wonderful convention and meeting all the people has been a marvelous treat!

Absolutely, it was good to meet you all. Thanks for making it such a fun convention. Lyn and I are really looking forward to next year's at Pittsburgh.

Thanks to Bryan Bussey for posting (above so not copied as they are too long!) from my notes at the breakfast. Sorry for any inaccuracies, errors and incomplete data. I found it difficult to hear everything, and may have got some details wrong.

@prbharris - are you still exploring the idea of NP/BN high staked log cars or is that in the dumper?

Thank you all,for the reports and especially Brian Bussey and others for the photos of new product.

In the coming days, I hope more Facebook photos of people/friends will be shared where appropriate.

While of course nothing's like actually being there, so many of us were able to vicariously participate, thx to all of you.  It means a lot.

Agreed, I really tried to like this car (without the moo sounds) but it seems like a total throwback...
Wait, has anyone ever made a solid stock car, ever?
I just find it incomprehensible....

Any news on the NARC/PWRS well car that was announced at Roanoke?

Can someone ask about it at Indy this week?

So no mention of the mysterious 53' container manufacturer at the breakfast?

Thanks for the reporting and photos Peter and Bryan!
