The best news I see from Scale Trains is that they use Tru-Color paints, and they advertise that fact. Finally modelers will be able to do exact pain matching for their scratchbuilt or modified models. That is the coolest thing I've seen for a long time. Maybe even a game changer!

Note that there are two versions of the Rapido model — the standard intercity 10-window coach without the roof hatch, and the smoker 10-window intercity coach, with the roof hatch. The two versions are intermingled on all the New Haven schemes based on the car reporting marks. Both schemes also are available with or without skirts based on the era of the paint scheme.
