Thanks for the convention updates Bryan!  :)

The Rapido OB cars are very tempting. Being a closet Rutland fan I may have to grab a couple B&M to put away...
The Railwire is not your personal army.

I'm REALLY excited to potentially meet so many of you in person next year.

It's already in my calendar.

I used to be a serious Pittsburgh hater. Growing up in Philly and living in Baltimore, I felt I had no choice. But my friend Ben recently showed me around, and it was hard not to really like the place. So much cool stuff to see.

The best news I see from Scale Trains is that they use Tru-Color paints, and they advertise that fact. Finally modelers will be able to do exact pain matching for their scratchbuilt or modified models.  That is the coolest thing I've seen for a long time. Maybe even a game changer!  :D

For the 8 N scalers who actually model?   LOL
in my civvies here.  I only represent my grandmothers home made Mac and Cheese on Railwire.

Wasn't it the 4 horsemen back in the 80s?

Sounds like plans need to be made.

Be sure to share the game changer new products.

The two versions are intermingled on all the New Haven schemes based on the car reporting marks. Both schemes also are available with or without skirts based on the era of the paint scheme.

Not sure I should define what I do as "modeling." Occasionally manage a "reasonable approximation." But I do paint alot- frequently paint the same model 3 or 4 times to get the color right and without runs and orange peel.  So I use a lot of paint, and if I use the same paint as the manufacturer I am trying to match, I could potentially get down to only painting the same model twice.

PS- Shipsure- thanks for those undec business cars and diners.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Where's the smoker hatch? Or do we get a free coupon to send away for it?  :D

Pittsburgh next year sounds good to me.  Need to figure out a "business" reason to be in Pittsburgh next year during that time to cover the travel costs.  I get to Pittsburgh about 1-3 times a year on business.  Used to live there for a short time when I was a trainee for the company I work for.
